Yhea, I think Honda Elise have the same drive shaft length.

I modified OEM speedster long drive shaft x2.

Thank you, House will be ready in 2 weeks time.

The hardest part with the conversion is you need to fabricate things yourself.

To get Everything to run smooth you need some time to fully test the car.

Br, Per

very nice house and clever design for the wing.

rallly

I´ve been thinking these covid months to swapping to k24 but looks a hard conversion

Presume you can use driveshafts from a Honda Elise (Toyota) and maybe the front torque mount..?

Good luck with it. Insane amount of work gone into the car which needs to be enjoyed!

That cup holder is bloody brilliant. Would you be willing to share the 3D print files?

Hehe, thanks. I have thought about sharing all the VX220 files I make on thingiverse.

I havent really found the motivation for it.

And she is up and running. a bit later this season but we have moved into our house and have a lot to do with the house.

Now I finally found time.

And she last thursday she was approved by bilbesiktningen (MOT) here in sweden. Until Last September 2021.  :-)

Now I will look for some track days before season ends.

2 weeks later but anyway. and 2 lambda sonds later.  :-) I´m ruined but happy she is alive.

I have found the root cause for the problem and will dive into  this during the winter. But I think electronic stopper for reverse gear

is stealing some power from the lambda sond. Something wrong in the wiring probably and I will deal with this during the winter

Mxv2D5Y.jpg

Cup holder installed and ready, I´m 98% satisfied and I will make a new slightly smaller and also assymetrical to get some more leg space, when I find time. If I find time. :-)

The day before yesterday me and my son was going to do some shopping and pick up a package.

My little one forced me to take the VX and my trunk space with wing reinforcment was to small for this

3d printer extender kit, which I bought to be able to printe my side scoops in one print. Instead of making 2 pieces and glue them together

This spring before I was going to take the car out the first time I changed the springs.

From 475/550 to 550/650. The idea was to reduce roll and also the lift feeling of the rear when braking into a corner.
ImupOAw.jpg

I also took the change to make my engine bay to look a bit more proper with this ebay sparkplugg cover.
F7FNYDE.jpg

Yesterday I was a kinnekulle ring a race track here in sweden, first trackday for me in almost a year so I felt a bit rusty myself.

But both me and car behaved. And the new spring rates gave me the desired effect, with less roll and less "lift" in rear and also a slightly better turn in.

So super happy about the day.

qPwiunJ.jpg

I started the day slowly with a lot of cars passing me, and slowly increasing my speed to be among the fastet road leagal cars.

Also got a new personal best with 59.33.

The cup holder worked nicely aswell.

But I really need a better seat, I need to hold hard to the steering wheel to not move around to much.

Garage step 1 is ready. painted and some shelves are up and also now have some lamps for the first time.

Now I need to organize it some.

IlH0WJf.jpg

But The garage still needs a work bench and some tools and so on. But this is step 1, first step to be able to organize the garage and the house.

Time for some update when we are settled in to our new house and garage.

I bought his Luso seat in May or so and got it later in the summer

I think and believe I´m one of the main reasons he did this seat so I had to buy it and it looks lovely.

iEkfaub.jpg

And after some installation fixing it was in the car, Off season but I took a short little drive to feel

the seat to prepair for next year.

PU4FncO.jpg

I´ve also sanded and painted the garage. Prepaired a work bench installed a air source heat pump. and the last week orginized

all stuff in the garage.

YlNXYwY.jpg

And this time I´ve also bought a good fan to evacuate air. (I hope)

NaSHphR.jpg

I´ve put here to sleep and prepairing for surgery.

Good night and Merry Christmas to you all.

I´m new to this engin boost thing and I spoke to someone online who think I should go for option number 2.

And for me it sounds good, but I intitiall was thinking of going for option number 1. ( there should be some pipes an intercooler and other stuff in between)

The reason for number two is throttle will be smoother of mid gas trhough a corner for exampel and easier installation.

Any thoughts from you regarding this?
