they certainly are the best looking carbon-with-a-bit-of-padding seats i've seen.

Agreed. thumbsup

Secondedddedded. They look lush. Out of interest, when swapping to full carbon seats, whats the usual weight drop?

Any pics fitted to a Vx? Do they sit a bit lower than the oem seats?

That square intrusion would put me off straight away, plus other problems I can see for me at least. They look OK'ish, but these are the wrong type of seat for you if you are after looks anyway, (Aimy :P) Without a demo I would not even think about them, sorry OP.

They fit a lot better than I expected (assuming they are exactly the same). thumbsup Would definitely need to try one out for a couple of hours though.

we fitted in the green, yellow and withe one. these cars fits the old model, now, the new model is better refinished, more confortable and fullpre-preg carbon. seats fits as OEM , so you will be able to do same things as OEM. ( can use rear bar, rubber protections, also move forward/back driver seats ) . seats weight 3 kg single skin, 3,5 kg twin skin ( both with under seats bracket fixed ), about 200 gr suede cover.
shipping for a pair is 90 euro.
if i missed some request, please send me a PM or e-mail.

I'd be interested in seeing how well they fit the subframes. I've seen reverie seats which should fit as a straight bolt in but were far from that. ETA: look lush!

seats fit on OEM subframe, you have to remove original seats, and bolt-on sp-1.
square are necessary to fit seats, but also your oem seats has, but are covered by leather. if you want to see how they fit, i suggest to take a look at :http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f157/composite-worx-sp-1-seats-122227/
or :http://www.lotuscars.us/composite-worx-carbon-fiber-seats

Please could you explain further the difference between a single skin and a twin skin . What can be seen on the back of a single skin seat ? Is there some glass fiber ?

difference between sigle skin, and twin skin, is about structure and look.
twin skin has a rear cover, that allow more structure and best look.
no grp is used on this seats. just pre-preg carbon. i think the guys own this vx220 had covered with foam or something else.
single skin back is refinished and flat black painted, than twin skin has carbon or carbon kevlar as front.
this is single skin back:
