Oh wow they look fantastic, I'm sure you are going to sell lots. I don't even drive my VX and yes I want these seats. The Square bits do look like they will dig in though :( ? Are they there due to the rails?

Can't see anywhere in the shopping basket / checkout where you can donate a kidney as payment, these are the nicest seats I've seen!

1387 euros

I think that's right anyway, looks like lotus brackets are inluded in the price of a double skin seat as well as the swede covers.

It also looks, going by the description, that the brackets and suede covering is included in the price of the single skin

we sell directly, retailer less, to keep 'lower' price than others high ends brands. these seats are laminated with a new resin, specifics for carbon looks, that as gelcotat, is UV prtected. ( first layer. ) yes, twin skin is stronger than single skin, about 20%. here is an example: Sp-1 single skin ( carbon or carbon kevlar same price ) 499 euro each Sp-1 twin skin ( carbon/carbon kevlar same price, combo available ) 649 euro each suede cover, any color and stitches ( complete with Velcro ) : 89 euro each dress-up kit any color : 19 each. 90 euro shipping and handling for a set of seats. for this forum members, i can give free 'lotus specifics' under seats bracket with hardware. ( about 80 euro less ) here, some say that sp-1s are more confortable than OEM seats. clients feedback..

I find it interesting that a seat made entirely from carbon with a 200g twill layer each side (for prettiness) would be 20% stronger than a seat made entirely from carbon with a 200g twill layer on just the outside. I'd imagine a seat would have to be 3mm thick at least so the additional layer would do very little. (200g layer will add around 0.1mm thickness). Are you using some sort of core material in the twin skin seats to add the strength?

I know this might not suit you but it might be a good idea to offer one seat to a forum member on a return basis. So they pay you full price, fit it to their car and take it to the national (a VX220 trackday with over 50 different VX220's in attendance) let lots of prospective customers sit in / have a ride around track in it then allow that member to send it back to you after the national for a full refund (minus postage). The cost to you will be zero other than receiving a 'used' seat back but it will dispel any fears of comfort, fitting etc and I would almost certainly say increase your sales massively. Worth thinking about thumbsup

...........and if said person could swing by, say, derby on their way back from the national that would be great.
