It all looks like a quality bit of kit,it will give me the piece of mind I want after seeing some failures on track with the standard itemsYou are more than welcome :)/>
Like them?
Steve Guiglielmi has been running the same rod ends as main wishbone bearings on the 24hr race car for over two years and they are still stiff!
Should have the trial brace ready within a week or two and the matching mounts shorly after.
I believe Simon is planning to help Liam as the ARB is a bit of a black art to set up, i know he has already started work on the damper valving.
Have a good evening.

Will the new bar only work with the rear blade arb setup and/or can it be fitted with any other upgraded toe link kit?
It doesn't need the rear ARB to be fitted, but as new inner mounts are used it is designed to work with the Spitfire kit.
From the feedback received so far I suspect the brace combined with the Cornering Force ARB and damper setup will prove to be the most effective suspension upgrade available for the VX family.

Thanks for the info. I'm not going down the road of the CF set up.
I have the EP toe link kit. Will your brace bar fit with this?

I've still got my original Spitfire bracebar, if you want to see if it'll fit Nick? Had to remove it when trying to diagnose the "clunk" as the exhaust would bounce off it over bumps. Didn't solve the problem and still have the "clunk" though, so think I'll probably remove the Cornering Force rear ARB (and probably return the front to a regular ARB as well) and see if that solves it.
Cheers Matt. I would like to take you up on that offer.
I remember the 'clunk' from the Le Mans trip

Yep, the same bloody clunk.

The brace bar didn't fit on my car with the Milltek or the Piper exhaust systems at all. Got a bit closer with the Tullet system but it was never going to have sufficient room without spacing the diffuser off the subframe and clam and going for the "dragging my arse along the road" look that that gives.

Will be interesting to see if it fits with my smaller Tullett as well as with the EP brackets

Have you looked at the damper Nitrogen pressures?
Are you on Nitrons?
Have a chat with Simon@CF, pretty sure he has seen this before. Personally I would wait before taking the suspension to bits.

Not sure what thread they use? if you have images of the entire inner fixing it would help.
Assuming it is the same thread the inner fixings/rod ends would be replaced.

I was maybe looking into purchasing this but looks like its a no go with me having a milltek exhaust
Good decision, the original design is very unlikely to fit a Miltek as that was always the biggest issue, but it fitted over 80% of those trialed.
Anyway if you bought a used one it wouldn't be in purple then would it!
