I'm 54yrs, 6' 4" and still able to get in and out (just about). Have to take the roof off some days to get in and out when my back is playing up. All that is forgotten once I'm behind the wheel.

I bought my VX off a guy who was retiring... he was able to get in and out with ease. Reason he was selling was he wanted a project, he was looking to completely refurbish a classic (I believe he was considering an Austin Healy Sprite)
