Pushed the butten to test mine and it fell off the ceiling. Still waiting for the landlord to replace it. doodah

Dont think its agood idea to put smoke detectors in the garage seem to remember exhaust fumes can interfere with the detector and cause false alarms. If you want to have an detector in the garage prob better with a heat detector, although building regs dont ask for this on new houses with integral garages just the double boarded 1/2 hr rated ceilings.
