Thank you for changing the front roof seal (see it's not entirely thankless ;) )

As you've probably spent about 7hours looking at the adhesive tape CocoPops would you say a 6mm wide tape would be wide enough to redo my seal?

The old tape is 10mm. The new seal is a LOT better... across the top of the screen for example it has 2 tape runs, not just one. The corners have 2 or 3 tapes in places. It's only the sides that has 1 10mm wide tape.

Its pretty easy.... just time consuming. Remove old seal Remove old glue/sealant/gunk/dirt. I used Isopropyl Alcohol, but FLD recommended Acetone, so either of those. Line up new seal once IPA/Acetone has fully evaporated. Use masking tape to temp hold seal in place, remove backing paper from tape. Apply. Simples.

Could someone please clarify? When people talk about fitting Turbo seals do they mean across A pillars and windscreen or across window / roof join? Cheers

Turbo seals have the little cups on the end. Early NA's have no cups.

Mmm mine is an 02 NA and has the cups at the top of the screen si it may be a turbo seal? Either way it is torn on drivers side so will need replacement. Cheers
