That's not bad if you've had no issues since June though! Can you see where the leaks from?

nope had a good nosey, its defiantly from engine coolant rather then charger system. And its defiantly coming from the engine bay rather then anywhere else.

Header tank is fine, as is the cap (wrong type of leak for the cap anyway).

The two bleed nipples are also fine and water tight.

I need to get the trays off but its cold and wet so I need to wait for garage space to come up or just take it to BOT

Water pump maybe? The Z20LET one is terrible for leaks.

Water pump seal, or perhaps the join for the S bend, or the S bend itself could have fowled the supercharger belt.

Leak turned out to be the water pipe off the oil cooler/warmer fouling on the gearbox. It's amazing how close it was to letting go completely. Also has cv boot replaced

I would like to investigate water injection and dutchness softwhere but only for cooling and drivability. Alas both of those things are expensive and me and Lizy have just bought a house and pouring liquid assets into that at the moment leave the list above to be done entirely by myself and on the cheap. That does not mean poorly but with well selected parts and not overreaching myself. The most expensive part of my to do list is the rear callipers, the rest is either "free" or will cost less than a tenner each, with the exception of the pads and disks.

Money no object I would have 2 VX220s, one 800BHP compound charged mental ground going rocket ship and the other a stage 1/2 SC VX220 that I would actually use.

I may regret saying this but currently I have no desire for more power, the car is far more capable than I am and I have fun on track days. I'm not into timing or racing, I like thinking I am fast and applying method to my driving. I don't take driver tuition the same reason I don't want more power, for me driver tuition would be the cheapest way to make me faster. I don't care about actually going fast, as long as I feel like I am going fast that is more then enough for me.

While I enjoyed (very very much, so much so that I was grinning like a chaser cat) being out in your car and Lee's and Marks ect ect. I defiantly felt like it would be too much for me and I already feel like my VX is too much for the road with its 250bhp. When I get in a car with a proper driver it blows my mind the corner speed and ability to know what is going on all the time with everything in their car.

The short answer is no.

New rear calipers are about 200+vat as I recall. If you man maths new calipers minus value of old ones versus cost to refurb, new ones are attractive. Rear brakes cannot always be refurbed of course if certain bits are sized.
