Woah, the list is done, congrats.
Removing 1 fan won't make any diff to flow, believe me, waste of time who-ever said that.

Yep good work

Have you tested it? Not that I suggested it, its just that I was going to try it as my car overheats on trackdays (as do many SC cars) and thought it can only help. In theory its seems logical that air flowing through a fan (and hence spinning it) introduces some restriction to said airflow... ?

I haven't tested it, but my understanding of how low pressure air flowing though a wide surface area makes me pretty sure that removing the fan will have negligible effect.
If you genuinely want more cooling, then simply turn the fan on whilst driving (with a self installed switch) - that would actually help lower the temps. I have a switch on my dash to do this and it helps lower temps whenever I want (including whilst driving if necessary).

Pixies?10 minutes cutting and stuffing celotex around the rad to force the air through the rads rather than around them seemed to make a big difference on mine

I would have sworn i saw that pic weeks ago.

interestingly at Rockingham my car sat at 100 all day and did not get to hot like it normally does?
I am putting it down to my new exhaust keeping heat out the engine bay as there is no longer a half melted cat in the way

Just pour water over the rads every time you come in from track... worked for me on Sat
Seriously though I had a closer look at the header tank when I pulled up at home and it's riddled with little cracks and you could hear them hissing and leaking every so slightly.
It has been 5 years since I changed it and the car lives outside, so not too bad.
Hopefully it's what's causing the heat issues of late.
Mr Vimes, is that piece just what is visible or have you put pieces below it/beside the rads?

It's about 3 inches thick and shaped to fill the space very tightly but only at the top. However, even with that plus a single fan and extra NACA ducts in the under tray it was still running up to 105c at Rockingham. With a gentle cool down it would drop quite quickly to under 100c but everything was just stupidly hot so took ages to cool in the pits. I don't know what the solution is for a day like that. The brakes, tyres, chassis, bodywork, engine and driver were all uncomfortably hot all day.
get a cat like mine
100 all day
