Most of the racing Elieses dont have Servo or ABS
None of the pre-Toyota engined Elises have servo's or ABS..
That only came in after 2004 when the first Toyota (2zz) powered S2 Elises came onto the market.
All (Rover) powered cars before that have used un-assisted brakes without ABS. It's what the car was designed for.
Bye, Arno.

Was the servo added and Is the master cylinder and rest of the system stay the same?None of the pre-Toyota engined Elises have servo's or ABS.. Different MC was installed together with the servo and ABS.. Guess which one.. Correct! From the VX/Europa (which, as far as I know is the same as an Audi A3 MC?)
And after 2006 or so they also dropped the original extruded Elise pedals and went to VX style steel pedals as the pivot point for the brake pedal was less than optimal on the original pedals for the servo'd setup (it gave rather a large stroke and 'dead' range).
As far as I know is the non-assisted master cylinder on the Elise a 3/4"/19mm bore dual chamber (straight bore) cylinder. Don't know the MC size as used on the servo'd cars or the VX..
Bye, Arno.

OK, I've guess I've been thinking, delete the servo but don't change anything else it's not going to match up very well.
Google VX220 master cylinder bore and found this on the first hit, so all good if you've gone bigger brakes all round.
I think I'll leave servo design for the OEM's! This is a race part, servo is dead wait and completely unnecessary if you aren't running ABS. FYI, the OE ABS master cylinder actually has a slightly bigger bore size than the motorsport one and works brilliantly with 4 pot front calipers and 2 pot rears.Has Hofmanns thought about designing a better servo?

So is there a need /market however small to need an abs to speedo interface unit?
That one is very simple...
http://jbperf.com/dual_VR/v2_1.html
Power, ground and signal from one of the hubs in, output pulse signal to ECU/dash out..
Done!
Bye, Arno.

It seems a picture of JimmyJamJerusalemha disappeared. He explain how to remove the ABS light, but not the airbag one. Does anyone have the solution ?

Same approach, but pin B.04 instead of B.12
