A bigger write up coming soon, but basically my car has had its fair share of problems, mainly due to some poor workmanship, but over the years the steady help from (In no order), Nick, mike, matt, jimmy, lee and Neil et all have kept me running and kept me loving the car. My interior is a one off from DTT, went stage 2 with a big rescue job from the people mentioned above. Then went stage 3 internals with work by the excellent Vocky. Then the group by for the Harrop came round... Jimmy took on the fitting work with excellent timing, attention to detail and a great deal of patience ! I just had the pleasure of driving a dutch software mapped harrooped vx from Newport to Bath, not many chances to play, but early signs point to the fact that this car is epic! I have no idea of the bhp, I guess somewhere between 340 and 360. The speedo flies around like it is a bat out of a cave, and it pushes you back in the seat harder than a drunk dentist. Better get some driver training in, and look into stiffening the back end up as the acceleration seem to be too much for the rear springs. Yay!

Very good.

So this is the first actual driving harroped Z22SE on dutch software.

I think many will follow ;)

I can not believe how smooth the map is, if you don't press the throttle more than a third of the way down (!) it is just like driving a normal car. I have never had a more smooth map from cms, I have blower cams and no balance shafts, apart from the rumble on idle it is actually more easy to drive than the NA counter part :) Honestly then part throttle mapping with then software is amazing. Anyone wanting to see the software or see a harrop is more than welcome :)

Hey mate. Great result. I won't be far behind you with the mapping. Are you running the Vxr injectors? I would love to see the map and how the car runs.

I am on the Siemens 60s, don't both with the vxr ones they don't provide enough fuel by all accounts, Siemens fit and run at normal pressure so are far more easy. I will put a link to the obd reader I bought on the thread about the software, I had two Bluetooth readers not work and Jimmy`s USB one not work properly. The one I just bought connected pretty much straight away. The learning process to make your first map is quite a nasty experience, up and down on different throttle at the full range of rpm. But I managed to get a good map from a 20 minute run. You are welcome here any time if you want to see what your car may turn out like! :)

You can have a look at the manual for a good indication. (v2 is for supercharged cars)
http://www.obdtuner....p/downloadfiles

It's for z22se ecu based cars only though.

And the wave of Dutch supercharged cars has started, There will be a lot more to gain by playing with the ignition but don't rush, Do it at you own pace or when you feel like you want to take it to the next stage. I am also a massive fan of the software

I'm running blue VXR injectors on a m62 and running them at 85% duty cycle 260 bhp + 250 Ib ft ish

Dave's car was quite a challenge actually.  The loom had been hacked apart and was a nightmate to put right!  There were 8 seperate splices on one of the individual injector circuits, mostly crimped but a number were just twisted cables and insulation tape!!!!  All sorted now though and the car ran lovely on this new software on the first turn of the key.

Must say I hated the running in/mapping process.  Really is unnerving putting the car under such load in low gears but thankfully it didn't take too long.  The car was an absolute animal though and by far the most powerful feeling car I've driven.  Wheels light up with very little persuasion so be careful Dave.  Hope you're happy with the car and as I said before any issues you know where I am thumbsup

btw - How do you find your new Fezzasus heater??

OK, just had a quick scan of the manual...

couple of questions...

I can see that you can change MAP sensors, but can you re-define the 'load' scale of the maps? as in the examples go up to 200Kpa, can this be changed?

I'll pm you Peter the developers email address.  He'll be happy to answer any techinical questions you may have and is a nice guy.  Be aware though he has a day job so may not reply straight away.

Yeah, you can change that scale too for a greater MAP range. Otherwise it would make no sense to fit a 3 bar sensor.

@ Dave; what Harrop pulley are you on and did you fit the TMAP sensor for accurate IAT measurement?

I believe it was the standard pulley Frank and I put the Bosch TMAP sensor on it using your photo of how to 'trim' it :D Thanks for that :)
