IMO its the only way forward. Customs mapping instead of rich fuel maps done by CS's man over seas. Being able to map anytime you want and as you upgrade the cars set up and parts. Ill be ordering mine in the next month when I have the final thew parts for my build. I could even stick my harrop on and run with a low rev limit till I upgrade internals. Having proper intake temps is worth it in itself for track time. I think a lot of us will find that our CAT's won't be disintegrating after a year also. Due IMO to the rich fuel map which then in turn leaves unburnt fuel to combust in the exhaust. That sounds almost straight forward. Without completely taking the thread off topic, is this now a better alternative to CS doing stage 3 mapping or is the cost still prohibitive?

It's not a kit. You have to buy bits from different places. Most of the parts come from CS, SC from the US and charge cooler rad from Pro Alloy. You'll be looking at £2500 to do a proper job of it all. Or £3500 to get two guys off here to build and complete for you. That all includes a base map which means a trip to CS in Norfolk for final mapping of the car.
Where does the base map come from?

CS. Send them your ecu and they will load it up with a 5k rev limit base map. If you work out how much that will cost you, £230 + fuel there + days holiday + remap time £100-200, you might as well get the OBD ecu upgrade and map to your hearts content for £800.
CS's does work out cheaper as long as no other mapping is needed.
By the time I get round to supercharging the dutch software will have been well tested.
I suppose if you factor in if anything goes wrong with the mapping on the day at courtneys, you will have to pay for a repeat visit which then puts you ahead on costs of the dutch software.
I could use the search function however I cant be bothered. So here goes, who do you get the dutch software from with the OBD thingy?

Correct but the benefits this software gives out weighs the slight cost saving of travel to CS.

Yes, testing.
Just completely ignore that this has been running in between somewhere 50 to a 100 conversions in various stages since 2009.
Once it crosses the pond, it magically transforms into brand new untested highly explosive voodoo stuff.
