Can we not work out what the vx is at 6.6k revs and work it so that at 7.8k revs it produces the same?

Can we not work out what the vx is at 6.6k revs and work it so that at 7.8k revs it produces the same?

 

 

7.8 / 6.6 = 18%, so 57mm x 1.18 = 67mm.

 

We opted for a 65mm version, as our rev limiter is around 7.7K and we did not want to loose too much capacity @ idle. Besides that, a too big pulley will touch the belt running on the tensioner side...

Right I will get a price for a 65mm, 6 rib pulley. The ones they are currently making are for the US market and there alternator is different isn't it?

yes, totally different alternator, so will not fit the z22se set up without modifications

Ben is going to quote first before anyone commits to anything. I assume there will be a minimum first order we will probably need a list of some sort.

Right got prices as follows: Non hard anodised: 3 = £68.00 5 = £60 10 = £54 Hard anodised 3 = £96.33 5 = 77 10 = 62.50 All prices + vat + postage. I think we need a list. If there is reasonable Interest I will get an original to Ben and get a batch made up. Hard anodised looks worth it If we can get 10+. Note, this is for the 2.2 not turbo.

I would advise all SC owners to purchase the Hard Anodised version due to possible wear issues.
