Happy new year. Unfortunately we are still in limbo as we are just one person short of the number needed for tuneconcept to push the button. I have not heard back from the remaining guys who put their names on the list but have not contacted tuneconcept, I have put a specific post on the general discussion asking them to contact me but no luck. I will ask tuneconcept if we can go ahead with our current number, fingers crossed. Any other ideas?

List here for who has paid Tuneconcept for the rltc: Westkenbrit Dw1 Starman Darcini List here for who wants the CS filters which I will coordinate with CS: Westkenbrit Dw1 Darcini Starman PeterVXR37 VX220bass

Ok guys, so we have six people for the filters. We are ready to go on this. It seems the consensus is that people will pay me, I will pay the lump sum to CS. CS will ship to me and then we use the kind help of the VX network to distribute the filters. I live near Heathrow so it's a pretty good hub for people who drive past. I will contact CS to get him prepared. Is everyone good with this?

Any update on delivery of the traction control, eta on filters…?

Not essential but ideally would like to fit it before the Harrop goes on… For obvious reasons :D

Hi,

I should get the TC's in the first week of Febuary.

If so, you will have them some days later.

The 6 units are packed and ready for shipping. I am just waiting for a signal from my bank that the payment has been booked.

And to get you in the mood of what is coming: this is how it will work for all of you after you have installed the Traction Control System:

Quartermile Launch with Launch Control activated, Bitburg 2013, 375BHP:

Trackday 2012 with my little daughter, you can hear the TC kicking in slightly at 2:35, 375BHP:

Quartermile Launches, Bitburg 2011, mine and a friends car, 275BHP (former engine) and 400BHP, both with TC and LC:

And this was a test, early in 2011, on sandy asphalt, 275BHP:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LPD4X-rLmc

You will love this gizmo for sure. Especially together with a diff lock you get to a performance level formerly unknown.

If you need a proper basic setup for the TC, just contact me. I have a setup file where you only have to adjust the wheel diameters to your setup, everything else is preconfigured to suit the VX220. With this you can just upload and have a go. Evaluated in the first months of operation and since then never changed again, operates flawlessly.

Thanks Carsten, your car looks an absolute weapon! The setup file sounds excellent, saves all the fiddling around. Can't wait to get mine fitted with my TC. I like where you have put the dial, I was thinking about putting the unit in the dash but seeing it in the centre console has got me thinking...

Info:

The 6 filter units were delivered to dw1 last week, including 6 prints with TC wiring diagrams and some pictures and notes.

So for my part the group buy is completed.

Happy wiring. :)
