The car is nearly at the stage where i need to start rubbing it down in preperation for paint...

Now a friend is painting it and will be doing some prep, but thought id do as much as possible to speed up the process and help him out...

There are still some rough bits of fibreglass paste, sanding filler etc to sort out...

What grades do you suggest using?

Wheres the cheapest place for say 5m (or equivalent) of each type?

I found 120 for the first pass then 240 for the second to be decent enough.

Used rolls from toolstation.

I'd just get some orbital pads and let that to most of the work :)

But on a serious note I've had very good results with filler by using it as 'milkshake'..

Filler, mixed together with tiny bit of epoxy resin, plus harder and painted on... You can get a very, very nice finish on it fills / smooths a lot better than simply filler by itself I found
