Cracking day guys, loved every minute of it! Great meeting you all and having a good natter about all things VX! Special thanks to Mike for keeping us right on our first track day, Chill for the first PAX rides - I had no idea what these cars were capable of until that moment, and finally Crabash for pointing out how ropey we both looked after our first PAX rides! The newly anointed 'Wife Rabbit' seemed to fare a little better than me I must admit, but I held out for the second go

If your using a go pro mike There is a setting where it focuses beyond inside the cabin, it far better with roof on

Excellent day, great track and some good crack...and a ride in a supa charga, Lee do not get in touch with me about your inlet manifold! Don't! Oh ok get in touch if you still got it... Still never seen a vx on the road though...

 

Glad you enjoyed the pax, your Lightning Yellow na looked good.     With an SC it would be close enough to the thrills of your sports bike?   and less chance of hurting our old bones when we have a little slide!

Thanks for uploading that man, we've both had a watch. It was definitely an easier run when the track had dried out a bit! I was RABBIT Gone WHITE after my first ride!

A mate of mine who lives round the corner just popped in and told me that he was at Croft yesterday.  He's a freelance instructor and was with Lotus factory cars yesterday.  He said some of you boys were quick!  Didn't say you were good though.

Reckon that video backs up my version of events more than the instructor. He backed off on the main straight so I passed thinking he had let me. I span but that was because of a car that I honestly class as dangerous! The brakes lock the rear of the car up which is very obvious watching that back.

And going from 5th to 3rd without matching the revs (not that I could hear) might not have helped.

I can't heal and toe to save my life but that car isn't right! I had to get Chill to drive my car to make him realise just how dangerous his car is.
