Technically I don't think Lotus have signed an engine contract, however have been testing on the Renault dyno, so it's assumed they will run Renault power. Might be having second thoughts right now though.

for all the bemoaning the loss of the v8 and the changes to this year regulations and the stupid looking cars, i sense a bit of excitement and a genuine leap in technology.
6 hours for an engine change in the new car vs 45min in the old one.
There might not be anymore overtaking but at least something should happen in the races this year.

Yesterday NASCAR went a fair few steps further than F1 when it announced that its title fights would now come down to a single winner-takes-all race at the end of the year.

As long as Renault have fixed their problem before the next test at Bahrain, I don't think there'll be a problem come race day (unfortunately)
