PC. Only had a quick go so far, and my ancient Logitech Wingman wheel is a bit creaky, but so far so good.

Peugeot 504 installed

i would say that a G25/G27 is going to be your next buy, it really needs something with half decent feedback to make the cars feel like they should,.

i don't know how savvy you are on PC's but i have a teamspeak server running where a couple of us regularly visit on in an evening. Just PM me if you want them an i can give you the details.

In the space of a week all the AC players on .org have a Rift. I've been left behind with my triple screen setup!

A really good thing you can do if turn on free-roam mode.. (Enable dev apps in assetto_corsa.ini) use f7 when you are on track then use the arrows to move around.. You could watch a replay then go stand on the pit lane, or anywhere and really get a proper view of the race.
