Hi Guys and Gals,

Im new to the forum and the world of the VX220,

I have just been and viewed the car i am interested in and it looked great apart from some faults that i have spotted while there!

minor paint chips on bonnet and wheel arch (Pea size)

water inside the car from roof/seal

heater dial hard to turn for the temperature

drivers window mechanism broken

limited if any history!

The car is showing 12000 miles and is a 2002 model

the car is priced at around 10000 from the dealer but i can get the car for 6000 direct!

I will try and add some images now so you guys can see it and please let me know what you think.

Thanks for your help!

Paul

10000 down to 6000, thats some reduction. I've got a window regulator if you do buy it.

Fuse box cover is missing.  I'd make sure all the electrics are OK in case water has affected the fuses and connectors.  £10k seems overpriced as it looks like it's had a hard 12,000 miles!  £6k would sound like a bargain assuming its otherwise clean(ish).

Ask yourself why, if its really done only 12000 miles, there is no history

That dealer has some nice cars on his books, including, apparently, several Veyrons!

Simple. Lots of owners. I don't think it's suspicious. These cars tend to change hands a lot and in the process history may get lost.

Good looking car, If the wheels go round, its a bargain for £6000., The item you listed as faults are normal no cost options with 90% of VX's

You would pay more than that for a crashed one to repair.

If there has been lots of owners there should be lots of history, I've never lost the history of any car I've owned. History gets "lost" for a reason. Cheap at £6k though if it stands up to an inspection
