Do you use/plan to use your car mainly on track?

My VXT was always intended as a mixture, with a heavy focus on road stuff.

For this car it will remain a road and track car, but will be used on track more often than before.

To be honest if I hadn't spent so much on the engine this time last year I may very well had been looking to do similar for the same reason you mentioned, the non linea power delivery of the turbo maps currently available. Anyway, best of luck with the build thumbsup

Thanks Dave.

I reckon there'll soon be a cost effective mapping solution that will solve the power delivery of the turbo though :ninja:

I think you just might be right, still need to be convinced though.

Can someone just confirm what flywheel is needed for our/my application?

Reminder, standard NA gearbox, with Z20LET clutch (from DaveE) and B207 engine remaining 2.0-litre?

I dropped Turbosport (conveniently just up the road from me and just down the road from Kimbolton as well) an email last week to see if they could do something that wasn't as extreme as some of their other uber lightened flywheels. Haven't heard anything back as yet.

:yeahthat:  But ditch the Z20LET clutch as it is not that good...  (see other discussions)

Can you point me in direction of where I should be looking lol (on phone). Are you telling me this one is no good? Thought it's what lee just bought for his?

After my M32 conversion I have a Courtenay comp clutch/ cover plate and lightweight flywheel for sale. The clutch and fly have done less than 4K with about 6 track days and looks fine, even had PSR Automotive check them out and they said they're perfectly ok. New, the clutch/ cover is £430 and the fly is £250, looking for £230 for the clutch and £120 for the fly plus postage.
