I'm just not seeing it. It's got an MMG map which is clearly a bodge and is essentially the CS base map with the rev limited lifted.

What makes you say it'd be a bodge?

MMG don't have a rolling road. All they've done is take the CS map which overfuels across the rev range, and taken off the rev limit, this means the engine could be running lean at high RPM, there's no way of checking of the injectors are maxed (which they probably will be if they are standard Turbo injectors) or if the fuel pump is delivering enough fuel at high RPM.

It's basically a map which has been applied completely blindly to the car.

Ermmm, because it was stolen cloned from a Courtenay base mapped ECU that hadn't been optimised for any particular car and has then been copied onto another ECU with a tweak to the rev limit. See what Courtenay say, when you book into get the base map optimised for your car and expect to just be paying for a couple of hours of dyno time.

I've just skimmed this thread after talking to a mate who has a Copart account, he mentioned there is a category that is barred to the general account holder?  I believe a Cat B is for breaking only & you require a license, e.g. a registered breaker?  This I believe, is to prevent these cars being repaired & put back on the road.  In reality!
