Time for an update :)

The VXR bilsteins I bought in the Lotus motorsport auction weren't right for me, so I bought some Nitron SS in the recent group buy

Posted Image

The Batman was kind enough to fit them for me, along with some rather pink braided brake lines (Hel said they'd be purple  - but I kinda like them :))

While he was doing that, he found that my exhaust had holes where there weren't supposed to be holes

So Vocky took a hacksaw to it and a new Tullet was in order

I know what you've done there... New oil cap innit! Nice, is your car on dutch or courtenay software? If dutch get that evil EGR valve off it.

My oil cap does look rather good! Yes, Dutch software and I'd imagine the EGR has been switched off in the settings but I'll look into it :)

EGR is disabled, but due to corrosion of the mounting bolt threads it would not come off. I think it's always best to not snap part of the head off and yes I have had that happen before on an engine being stripped for parts.

Yep, if those bolts are stuck they really don't like to come out...as I have just experienced :(
