Just a heads up, for anyone fitting these I had to re adjust my windows slightly. They put an extra amount of pressure pushing the window out which meant there was a gap letting rain in. Very small but enough for there to be a puddle on the sill in the morning. I adjusted the bottom left ( drivers side, easy to access ) adjuster, wound it clockwise bringing the top of the window in slightly. No more leak

I've just fitted these, they seem to have stuck really well just using the sticky strip. I just cleaned up the surface using meths spirit beforehand.

Worth noting for people that didn't know, the ribbed flappy bit (hehehe) on the seals slots under the windscreen surround, it pretty much clips in.

Like this:

See at the bottom it's pushed in, once all of it is slotted in it holds it in position quite well. Then pull the backing off the sticky strip and it's all done :)

Thanks for that - I've been waiting for the numpties guide before fitting mine!

Will get on it whenever the rain goes off for long enough...

Well that was the simplest job I've ever done on the VX. Its almost as if it was designed to fit!

Would have thought so... a call to a friendly dealer should answer it pretty quickly.

Fitted my driver side and it's great. Can't fit passenger side as the gap between the window and screen is minimal. Could try tilting the window out. Ideally I would move the whole door back but can't due to the striker etc. and not dure if I can move the window back relative to the door. At present the seal puts way too much pressure on the windscreen and pushes it forward. I could just leave the passenger side no fitted but for some reason having one fitted but not the other niggles my OCD.
