Carbon Fibre for function, acceptable. The bonus is that it looks good.

Carbon Fibre for aesthetic pleasure, waste of time and looks sh*t. Only my opinion of course.

I concur.

Unfortunately car owners seem to be split into 2 halves, those that want their cars for function, and those that just want them for looks.

I quite like carbon for the lightness and it looks OK.  I'm not sure about dipping and carbon vinyling though.  Looks OK but it not for me.

I've got a full set of these for sale.

I'll get the details and thread up at the weekend.

Look really good IMO

Really cool but not for me, I just don't like the whole fake/wrapped/dipped carbon effect thing, real carbon is cool, imitation just isn't no matter how good it looks (and these do look good)

Not for all I agree.

Did a test on one, decided it worked really well so decided to finish the rest and sell as I no longer have my VX

The thing is... they don't make you car perform any better. QED.

As I said, there are those that want their car to go faster, and those that want it to look like it goes faster... there is a significant/critical difference between the 2.

I'm not sure I get your point, this is clearly a thread re styling, nobody is making performance claims?
