I like Guy Martin. I totally respect him as a fcuking fast motorbike rider and cyclist as well. He doesn't drive me mad at all. I think its good he's on the telly.
I'm fine with him on TV and his Speed series thing was great (luckily narrated by someone else). But as the host of a show that might conceivably involve interviewing others and a degree of "acting"? Me thinks not.
Anyway, he made the fatal mistake of a buying a DB9 (therefore proving little knowledge of 4 wheels) and then chopped it in for another Transit.

Its not the show for him I agree. Just posted that as I saw the news article somewhere. But had to defend the mad bugger.

Forget top Gear, Roadkill is your new source of car abuse https://youtu.be/wOQe1hWvX_c
been watching this on the Motor Trend channel since it started, fantastic shows, not heavily scripted and they work on the cars.
Alaska road trip 2 is my fav episode, they genuinely are two mates just pissing about with cars

I want to like his programs as they seem to be about stuff I'm interested in, but 20 seconds is about the most I can cope with when hes on jabbering away Fred I could cope with, but Guy, sorry no thanks

I watched the first series when it first came out as I was hard up for viewing. The main man seemed like a decent bloke but can't stand the stuff they made.

Guy Martin won't do it. He doesn't see telly work as a proper job and prefers mending trucks. IIRC he was offered the job on the car resoration show that Phillip Glenister took and turned it down.
