Update: no difference found spraying the brake cleaner around the top.

Going to have to get under the car to spray the under side as there is zero access from the sides, even with a straw.

Hopefully got someone with an oscilloscope coming round next week to check electrical stuff.

What is the normal output expected to be from a secondary lambda sensor? Primary flip-flops between around 0.9V and 0.1V (rounded) which I understand is what it is supposed to do. Secondary just sits at a constant 0.75V.

So, we had the scope on the wiring last week and spotted a lot of ignition noise.

The scope's owner then set it up on his own VX and found the same noise but at a much lower amplitude.

We also found a dodgy connection in the X1 harness plug which I have now bypassed with a new plug.

Still getting the misfire.

More investigation into the noise to follow...
