Little bit more progress.

Got 99% of the plaster off, got the 2 holes cut for the RSJ to go in, got all the tiles up aswell and i managed to get them out intact so im going to use them in the pantry we are making in the corner.

Did some chopping and burning, the fire has been going from 9 when we started to 10 when i left. A lot of stuff has been burnt today

Posted Image

Finished all that at about 5, so after pops went home i started the garage.

Im going to just do it in magnolia and a grey floor, for now.. If i decide to do the walls white, which i probably will its only going to take a coat.

Tomorrow we have to get all the adhesive from the tiles up and drop the ceiling. Then look at the water pipes and the eleccy wires.

Today we managed to get the RSJ in and secured.

Posted Image
Posted Image

Some of the old pantry vents (pantry was removed by previous owner) needed bricking up.

Posted Image
Posted Image

Fireplace all bricked up

Posted Image

We decided to put the pantry back in, so this is the timber frame.

Posted Image

And her dad spent the day filling, sanding and painting.

Posted Image

And again, once everone went home i started on the garage. I've finally done the first coat and 1/2 in the second.

Posted Image
Posted Image

Looking at these pics now, i think its safe to say it really has to be white.

Started undercoating the wood windows to try prolong them a little longer

Posted Image

And then sat down and had a beer by the fire.

What's that microbore heating like? Looks to be simple plastic pipeline you can manipulate where you want?

as long as you dont try bend it round too tight of an angle and kink it, it seems pretty good actually. :) all push fit pieces and seem solid enough.

I'm sure it will be fine, but if that HDMI cable is quite long it would be worth testing it with the kit you intend to use it with before it gets buried in the wall. Good work BTW, just looking at the pictures makes me knackered! :-D

I used the copper push connections when I did my rads last year. Not had any issue so far. Didn't know you could get pipe work to match which will come in hand when I want to run some more lengths.

Good progress so far. Don't know how you find the time though. Garage looks great once you painted the floor.
