Are the ends completely open? And if so, any coating inside or should we apply some Tectyl corrsosion protection?

Ends are opens. Should be fine but could put some rtv or something to seal if you wanted.

yeah but some of the bushes don't age well depending on their use and how tight things are. Some need extra lubricant
