Really shocked and saddened by this.

 

I met him quite a few times on runs over the years and he was always a really nice guy and a good laugh.

 

RIP Simon, you will be missed.

Jesus H... Only met him a couple of times - first was on a Midlands meet not long after I bought my vxt. He was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Thoughts with his family. RIP

He just had his birthday 2 november and he was 46. He is one of my dear dear friends and I'm devastated beyond belief. I'm numb If anyone could message me with more details and where you mighty have got them from it will stop me being distraught all night, I want it to be untrue Thanks xx

Only met him a few times, once at a RR day and then again when he took me around the track in his awesome VX at the National in Wales which was my first taste of a very fast car and one I won't forget. He instantly came across as a very very nice bloke. Sad news.🙁🙁🙁

I'm absolutely shocked to hear this. He was a lovely guy! Always bent over backwards to help people, even put up with me for a whole day around a Peaks run when my car was out of action :( . RIP mate.
