Watching the video again, it does look there's a number of places where it could be really easy to get lost!See you all tomorrow. Antone need help with lines I am happy to offer pax laps early on. I will also bring my circuit guide, as long as you promise to read it to me during the PAX laps
"brake brake brake, left left left... no the other left!"

My advice is get on the sighting track early.
Corners??Sounds good Cheeky chops. I'd like to see how the vxr can handle around the sweeping corners...especially with all that torque.
Muchos balancing of the throttle I guessÂÂ![]()
Or lift off mid corner, opposite lock then power on... jooooooooooooooooyyy!I dont need to worry about corners, i got Ohlins

1st trackday in a T, so could be messy![]()
Also get around the track with someone who knows it. It's a great track with loads of run off (safest in country IIRC).
Get the tyres warm. I generally do a couple of slowish laps first. But dont stay out too long as they get very 'squirmey'.
(Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, just from my experience I would have liked to have known this).
Anyway the GT circuit...hmmm...
Right!
Out of Pits, on to the pit straight, stay to the right.
Left through bend in 2nd gear.
Move towards the centre of the track then drift to the right.
Through Left hand bend point it into the First chicane & brake.
Right, 3rd about 60ish for me, feed power on through tightish Long Left.
The car will pull right - let it.
Move back to the Left for the the Right, 4th gear.
Car will want to drift Left, bring it back over to the Right for the small turn left.
Apex this and your be on line for throwing out the anchor, left.
Very tight start opens onto the long main straight...135mph here 5th gear for me,
Stay Right and watch your Mirrors for the gt3's pulling up!
Touch brakes for the 4th gear chicane (more balance) or 3rd but is harder on the car
Turn in to touch the inside Kerb you can get to 100 mph through here although I generally did 90ish.
Don't try and turn straight away, there is loads on concrete to play with to get more speed out of it.
Turn slowly right keeping balance, let it drift Left.
Keep right brake brake brake 2nd h'pin.
Late apex drift right.
3rd gear move left,
Long right,
Car drifts 4th gear out left move back to the right for left.
Apex drift wide right.
Use the concrete, brake,
3rd left, apex, feed power, use concrete, say on the right.
Brake into 2nd gear.
Late apex tight left & feed on the gas.
Move car back to left & into 3rd gear.
Brake stay in 3rd gear.
Double apex right.
You're on the back straight.
Stay to the left & brake, 3rd gear.
Right - let the car drift left, feed on the power into 4th gear.
Don't lift if you're concentrating! but left foot brake stab to balance.
Turn Right. If you spin here you'll do it in front of the pit lane![]()
Let it drift to the left and use the extra concrete - then bring the car back on the right.
I hope this helps!

Yep, No problems, great day, all I need now is about an extra 50-100 BHP, Nitrons, A048s and Padgis. So come on then - how did it go? I've just spent the last hour reading all 16 pages.
First timers, will you be going again? Let this potential first-timer know whether I should get track day cover on my imminent insurance renewal...!
