Sunlight!

Couple of pics of the new firewall and how clearance to the seat worked out (with my new seat brackets lowering and reclining the seat a chunk over stock)

H2 Hummer Airbox is a tad bigger than expected. Not too bad, but still impressively large. Filter outlet fitting is a random 108mm - matches perfectly to my 80mm MAF and 60mm compressor inlet. lol. Need to figure how best to mount it, but for now I just want it bodgied together so itll run :)

I hope your MAF doesn't spazz out due to the short preceding runner length, presumably you are putting it directly after the air box so it gets an even flow as much as possible?

I mention it, as I had hassles with my MAF (back when I actually had one) and had to install a hex mesh before it to try and even the flow out.

GL, keep spannering. :)

The factory MAF on the A20NFT is very close to the air filter, so should not be a problem

Can't wait to see the bodywork fitted. I'm very intrigued how will the side sills follow the lotus design.

i can pretty confidently say it wont line up great, but the way the quarter panels differ, and the way the GT3 clams aer designed, it should be pretty 'easy' to get it to blend. my only concern is the shape of the air inlets, and how best to make it work aesthetically. Keep square, and leave a trace of the vx origins, or somhow make the curved inlet work despit the square edge of the door

Back on the wagon!

Finished the front end of the cooling circuit. The 68mm core was too fat, so sold it and got a smaller one. Ditched the old single spal which sounded like a chinook, and got 2 slightly smaller used lotus spals for not much. New loom and plug, panel fasteners, mounted, doneski.

Also ripped the shifter console back out, re routed the shifter cables for a bit more space, and finally installed a new handbrake cable. No photos as that's boring as fcuk, but it's in. The self adjusting rear calipers might need to settle a bit, but for now I have brakes!

So this has been happening to try and get enough boxes ticked to facilitate the start of loud noises TM

Cunty mish mash of coolant pipes from various cars all working harmoniously together in a tangle of eye cancer
