#3146 is a Swedish speedster and the same number is on a VX220 in the UK according to the list. Are they numbed by model?

There will be some issues with the list as it's only updated by owner information, the original curator of the list abandoned it a few years ago.

If your Speedster VIN is 3146 (white sticker on the door pillar) then I'll update the list to reflect your ownership.

No sticker on the pillar but the badge on the dash says 3146.

 

 

Just to confirm is that the little black plate on the dash board near the windscreen?

 

Chassi number stamped behind the front wheel is  3920, plate on dash is 3146.

Found it in the list

I thought the chassi and build number were the same?

Silver NA but now SC'd

Original Reg was Y302 NLK, current Reg is X220 SC

 

Would be great to understand who owned it from 2007-2013

I'm confused on that, some of the Speedsters seem to have different information, I know a lot of them had a number stamped on the 'VX220/Speedster Plate' on the dash, the one next to the radio, which differs to the VIN/Build number, but the VIN/Build number should be on the dashboad near the windscreen.

The Build list has the details of 'dav6450' from 2001, no information on who owned it after him, perhaps VX220Bob can say?

Thanks for that GiGo!  DAV6450 must have been the first owner as car was registered in 2001.

The list currently states "*7412 ChippyFA (EX-pcmanning) UK Petrol Blue VXT 09/15"

 

I've seen this car in the fibre glass and I know it was Petrol Blue, I think I remember reading that 'ChippyFA' had sold it, but not sure.

 

Can you just confirm what it says on the VIN on the dash and the Sticker on the drivers door pillar, the door pillar should give you the model and colour, if it's still there.

I assume you mean ChippyFA's car? As in #7412.

I'm curious too, I'll message ChippyFA to find out, the list is not 100% correct by any means, probably on 50% correct at best

Have just found this thread;

Looks like it was Yellow and former owner was pcmanning, so could be an error in the list and ChippyFA's car was not number 7412

Not a Silver turbo as reported.
