6800 rpm would be safest on a stage 2 as the captain says this also keeps the M62 happy.

Thanks for the input. I have it on 6000rpm, reduced it when i installed the SC to try and not increase the stress on the engine too much. But I cannot shift quick enough, so always end up on the rev limiter on track days. Almost going through the wind screen when it happens! Will probably increase quite a bit now. Haven't done anything with the internals, car has been driven around 45000miles. Will try with 6700 if that guarantees reliability on track 😊 Thanks a lot, guys!

Thats cos he's had a passenger ride, I expect many would likely change their minds after a ride, the problem is that they make their minds up before they've even experienced it.

Remember, 350bhp just isn't enough in a road car.

True. My NA struggles to get up my sloped drive without a run up.

Well my aim with the A28 conversion will be around 400-450 with 500 lb ft of torque. Should be fun

brick under the accelerator? Pull on and injector?

-as my father would say, its a throttle not a switch. The general consensus is that stage 2 is pretty much the perfect sweet spot and makes the car what it should have been from factory*.

*apart from the wheels, suspension, steering rack, exhaust, lights, and interior trim... obviously!

SC stage 2 seemed to work ok in Milton Keynes. Perhaps you need more roundabouts? ;0

I have 300bhp in MK and I wouldn't mind a few more!

For B road driving you can have too much power, as you have to keep reigning it in rather than extracting it out. That's where the fun comes in. However, there is a great deal of fun in booting it down a dual carriage way with a million hp, it's just not as rewarding as keeping a car in the sweet spot on a twisty.
