Even a Polo makes the Evora 400 looks small! Dumfries overnight.

Made it to Edinburgh this morning as part of the running in 1,000 miles (800 so far)

That Polo picture is excellent, always thought these looked a little large but that puts things in perspective.

Good job you parked that way. If you'd parked nose in, the Evora's arse might have swallowed the Polo. :P

Today I've had: "Lovely noise, you've made my day" from a white van man. Thumbs up from a Megane R26 owner Guy stopped whilst crossing the road in central Edinburgh to take a photo with his camera. LOTS of waves and smiles. I love the Evora, the reaction is the same whether it's a 400 or an NA, it's a very under rated car.

It may be worth you just checking the rear reflector by the wheel is on properly, the 400 that turned up at our gathering had it missing and by all accounts it fell off.

Now at 950 miles, home bound tomorrow and that will see it ready for first service at 1400miles ish.

It's simply an awesome car, I've spent a lot of time in the drivers seat this week and it just makes me smile. The amount of  from others is impressive too.

I was never a fan of the Evora but I've started to really like it! That is one sexy car you've got there!

Must... justify... cost.... :) Man, I try to like them as a 'big brother with more seats' to the VX but purely on a looks basis I can't. That front. I'm sure it drives well. Great you like it. My VX get more attention than I ever imagined or wanted. Every time I go out people stop and stare. Kids literally stand pointing and gaping. It astonishes me that a £5k Vauxhall can have this affect on people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hear what you're saying Neil...but... are you saying your VX is only worth £5k? Or that you've only spent £5k on it? For us it was a life decision, if Alex's brain tumour has taught us anything, it is "don't put it off if you want it" so we bought it and will enjoy it to the full.

http://handmade-in-h.../zandvoort-trip So, Smiley... what did you think of the pax @ Zandvoort? Have to excuse any bad lines, was my first time at Zandvoort and first track day in the Evora 400 as well! 2,300 miles on the clock now.

It's really different to anything from S2 series and back. (have not paxed an enxige V6 yet)

The performance is very nice, and you can feel very healthy torque when you put your foot down.

Only in the corners i can feel the weight difference impacting the car. I am sure once pushed to the limits it can get closer to a vx.

Though you were not in full atatck, i think the lsd and TC will help giving much more confidence then i can do with my car.

The sound is awsome, but it will be a bit hindering you on tracks.

I would love one with a quiter exhaust
