I'm gonna miss waking up with the sole objective of driving to another stunning destination. It's kind of addictive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To be honest, that doesn't appeal to me. This trip was something me and my good mate have been talking about for years. We don't want to be tied to a schedule, and the thought of so many cars in a train around those roads isn't my cup of tea. Plus there were three track days which is a massive part of car ownership for me. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNeil, I know the Frolic clashed with the Euro meet that HH and myself have just attended but you may wish to think about the Euro Speed meet next year. Some of the roads and scenery we unbelievable in an area that I would never have visited had it not been for this event. We are now at Lake Como & looking forward to our drive to Grindelwald on Tuesday via the Gottard, Furka and Grimsel passes. We were just asking each other the very same thing. Rich's is pulling up at Paul Ricard for our first track day. Mine has to be the drive from Lake Como up to the Alps. That scenery has been burned into my retina. Only spoiled slightly by breaking down on top of a mountainCheers for sharing Neil. If you could pick one drive from your trip, which would it be?
But it's really hard to pick anything cos the whole thing was epic. In the truest sense of the word. I'm gonna miss waking up with the sole objective of driving to another stunning destination. It's kind of addictive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TBH it wasn't like that at all. I hate convoys but this was well organised with the involvement of the Austrian authorities. Split into a number of small groups with gaps between each group & no need to stick to the planned route or timing if you didn't want to. I take you point on the TDs though which is why I may revert to my plan for this year which will be Pyrenees road trip then over to Orange to pick up the TD at Ledenon. We don't want to be tied to a schedule, and the thought of so many cars in a train around those roads isn't my cup of tea.
