Opcom On Windows 7 - Why Won't It Work?

I bought another OPCOM in the end from a different seller. Haven't had time to try it on the car yet, but this one allows me to run the self diagnos test in OPCOM properly so I assume it will work.

 

To get into the ABS on the VX - do you have to select Astra? or can you access it by selecting the VX? I had in mind I read that the airbag for example requires to select Astra as model?

Only if you (retro)fit an Exige/Elise ABS controller. Then you need to use a Lotus scan-tool to access the ABS unit.

 

The original 2-channel VX ABS controller can be interrogated and checked with regular Vauxhall/Opel scan-tools just like the ECU and Airbag units.
