Just a quick read through this. I did a suspension refresh a few years ago as mine was a bit crusty. I plated my wishbones before coating which I'd recommend doing. Adds about 200 quid. I went for poly bushes and would go for the harder oem ones Chris gets if I did it again. From the prices quoted I wouldn't even consider doing it myself again. It's a good price. I'd get the ball joints with the Allen key in the top too for convenience. Can't remember where from. Consider swapping top shock mounts on the front and refreshing the front lower wishbone brackets on the rear too. If you're stripping the wishbones off may as well do the lot. Do it right, do it once! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

+vat...

yes, but im sure you would get enough for your old wishbones to cover VAT and the difference in the cost to have them refurbed,

im also guessing the prices above are plus VAT

yes our prices are.

Thanks everyone, great information, so I'm going, OEM bushes, Delphi ball joints, I'm not a fan of powder coating suspension karts, so shot blast, zinc rich primer and 2 part epoxy top coat for me, I've had bad experience with powder coatings on areas prone to stone chips, anyway that's another story. I've bought a couple of BMW 5 series rear drop links, and guess what, there not close to the originals on the car, there absolutely identicle, so I've figured if there good enough for a heavy Beamer, there good enough for a VX. Of course and I'm using my now infamous Delphi track rod ends that cost me £6.00 each, now I just need to get some new bolts for the wishbones, hubs and shocks and I think I'll be in good shape. I have a couple of FAG Hubs (60.00 each) on sale or return just in case I need them as the work progresses. Have I forgot anything?
