I'd be really happy for Lee if his is faster, mine is plenty fast enough for me.

I simply enjoy seeing people experimenting and coming up with different/improved solutions. I follow this very interesting group on facebook, every day I see stuff on it that impresses me with people's (often amateurs) inginuity.

We are lucky (or perhaps well informed) to all have one of the best mid engined base cars to experiment with.

Alex was updating me about your build, sounds super impressive. I'm not sure I'd want to be a passenger in it as I get scared easily.

You can drag it out against Lees car, that would be interesting, 600 supercharged HP vs 600 turbocharged HP. I understand he has a private testing road ;)

I hope you boys make some checks about your bodywork rigidity, it's a serious issue with the power you are making. My own front clam flexs at high speed and causes the undertray to flex and breaks the fixing points. Worth reviewing IMO.

Well having the opotunity to get a go in this yesterday Wow The extra torque was immense Sorted a few issues out with the map setup with the smaller pulley for lee but still needs actually mapping and it will be amense

Its a lot more torque than my 2.2 1320 harrop which is 416NM which is around 305 ft lb

i dont want to put a estimate on it nev but if your asking me to guess maybe not 400 ft lb but significantly more than mine

How much boost is it making @ idle?

That long throw crank should make some nice torque numbers with the 1900 TVS. Poor gearbox and axles...

when it was on the bigger pulley idle was about 65 kpa and around 190-200 kpa at high rpms

lee has a smaller drive pulley

he now has reduced the charger pulley size and its running around 250 kpa at high rpm

i will let you know the current idle kpa on the smaller pulley when lee emails the latest files

They where super softs but yes 1 track day

Ahh okay :) Do they wear evenly?
No but the zzr's are much better Need to ad some shims
Yeah ZZRs need less camber than most R-rated tyres because the tyre walls are so stiff that the carcuss of the tyre moves around less.   Anything over 3.5 is pretty extreme IMO
There are stiff but camber is necessary. My front Zzr a24 where is -2 degrees camber after one trackday looks http://www.mazdaspee...33717&mode=view

Well little update engine all going very well been busy fitting traction controll ,launch control is very  nice and water injection to  keep it cool  .Mapping will be done end of June so will let everybody no final figures then ,the torque is mental its fast enough as it is ,took it to the pod the weekend and i was hitting 11.3 with more to come so its quick. Been messing around with the exhaust today to fit two Tullet back boxes all set up just need to pop to Tullet for them to connect them up .
