Wouldn't bother with the inserts. Actually impossible to fit. Even following the helpful how too on here...

They've arrived, just measured & excluding the two locating lugs they're 69mm, so appear to be correct (measured in a vice).  Will compare with the ones I remove, but so far so good.

Yep - ordered from Elise parts last night along with the inserts for the front & rear.   Thanks all for the input - some scrabbling around on the floor coming up...

By vx standards it's an ok job. Just need a long extension for the side mounts.

Remember to tape the socket to the extension bar... or you will never see it again...

Well that was a fun couple of hours...  I have the wrong size hands for a VX220.  The pic below is the passenger side mount, surprised it wasn't making a worse noise given it had completely come apart.  Having taken it out since the difference is quite noticeable - as others have said everything feels a lot more together under hard acceleration.

The mounts were a good fit - I don't believe they're Vauxhall ones - the ones I took off had GM markings on them, the new ones don't.

I did a bit of reading first (absolutely tape your sockets to the extension bars!) & would advise tackling the passenger side first - it's more accessible & you can see more of what you're doing, the drivers side is the same but you cant see it so having done the other side helps.  Definitely remove the top intercooler hose, makes life easier.

They are quite straight forward to do. Where are you based?

I wouldn't attempt on my own, don't have the tools for a start. Based 10 miles north of Brighton. Will try ringing round tomorrow but the problem is I'm going to Edinburgh for work the next 2 days.
