Think it's 20% if it's unfurnished.I don't even live in my house at the moment (living overseas) and so consume absolutely no services. And yet I have to pay full council tax. Really fooks me off.

Not in Milton Keynes. No provision for any discount either furnished or unfurnished. Take the loo out and it uninhabitable and therefore CT free for 6 months (Is for our council anyway)

I used a similar guide several years ago and the house went down a band. We got a rebate for several years we had overpaid, so well worth the effort.

Ours went up 5.6% for the second year on the trot now, the previous 5 years were 0% increase but even so.
