the white/violet wire is a switched 0v from the ECU, this powers up relay K16 (K16 supplies power to the fuel pump and injectors)

check pin 8, plug X2 on the blue plug, it should have 0v for approx three seconds after ignition is switched on, then 0v during cranking and when engine is running

i'am getting 13V on this constantly even in first three seconds ignition is switched on. It will only dip slightly whillst engine is cranking with starter motor. I'am taking this reading direct from wire just outside ECU to eliminate everything else. With pin 85 of fuel cut off relay grounded starts 1st time with no ECU error lights on. Is this looking like an ECU fault?

just to clarify , there are two white-violet wires, the thin one , 0v , and the 12v relay switched one

not sure if you have the wiring guide , but here is the page

1136 KSP , is the supply to the fuel pump

If you do not have 0v at pin 8 on blue plug X2 then it is likley to be an ECU fault

or immobiliser? , pin 12 on blue plug also worth investigating?

I think if pin 10 on black plug X3 flashes , this means immo is active

Yes been working from that circuit diagram. It is the small 1.5 mm white/violet cable continuity tested it from ECU to pin 85 of fuel pump relay. What sort of readings should I be expecting from immobilizer at blue & black plug? Would immobilizer still let the engine start with Fuel pump relay pin 85 grounded?  because it does and runs ok. Not getting any red immobilizer or  ECU light on whilst engine is running. Don't know if this is connected but electric coolant pump stays on now when ignition lights are on. Already swapped grey relays from front ones.

Had to get a used ECU wiped previous data on it then put my VIN number & key number in. 2 pins had corroded on the 52 pin ECU connection shorted it out .
