Exige where about 16k about 7 years ago. They where around 25-30 4 years ago (retail prices anyway) This was when I was looking to buy :)

I think that is more realistic for good used ones even today.

Low mileage in awesome condition a bit more.

Put your money into an S1 Exige. It won't lose any money, only gain. But, you'll have to take a loan out!

That said, loans are cheap & the S1 values will continue to rise faster than what you will be spending on loan interest!

And what about huge modified cars? Does it raise their value or not?

See my post above Max the wrong S1 will loose you thousands of pounds in the current market. If you can get one Sub 40k it's safe but a risky buy for appreciation. The guys that paid 15k have had the best from the S1 and even at real sell prices the ship has sailed a long time ago. I still think Vxrs have headroom s2 exige S would be my top tip. Low 30s now they will all be over 40 within 5 years. A real future classic evolving right before our eyes. Still not quite appreciated fully on the market.

Someone I know reasonably well has recently purchased two mint low mileage 340R & S1 Exige from a collection for just under £140k. I don't know what the breakdown was for each car, but he is a very shrewd investor & has over 40 cars.

Not very shrewd in this case! 340R max 50k for the very best (there was was a spurious auction result in euroland at about 70k last year) S1 Exige I would not hand over as a private punter more than 45k for any car even 5k mint. The ship has totally sailed on both of these cars imho. Best estimate he has just lost 40 grand.
