A little more subtle than a switch on the dash saying "ABS ON/OFF".

What like this?!

Mine is specifically declared and listed on my insurance along with everything else.

You are kidding me ffs. Your ins. Co can't know what ABS is lol.

I have never seen the point of a switch. I only disconnect mine for track days. If it was a problem on the road it would be disconnected all the time.

I have a key switch on mine, located in the conventiently sized circular hole in the black cowling right above the wire.  Everything is hidden so you can't see what it controls, and can only be switched on and off using a key, which is on my ignition keys and therefore can't be accidentally turned off while ignition is on.

One like this.

So decided to do this prior to my track day on Friday but I've come across a slight issue. I have found two identical yellow wires. Not sure which to cut.

any ideas?

They're not identical. One has a grey stripe, leave that one alone. Only cut the wholly yellow cable. Good luck!

Edit: oh yes, and the fully yellow cable is wrapped around a pink cable, the striped one isn't wrapped around any other cable.

Turn the wire around, the grey stripe is very faint but it's there.

Here's the aforementioned grey stripe, only visible when I twisted around the wire.

Thanks to everyone for their help. Just been out in it and the brakes are so much better with the ABS off. Cadwell Park on Friday should be much better :-)

I made it, it's just a basic key switch stuck through a bit of aluminium with a sticker I designed and printed.

You can get get the top right one of these switches if you wanted a fancier logo'd up solution.
