OEM airbox on mine two. Adaptor bracket to shuffle it across about two inches outboard. Quiet as a mouse. Pain to change the filter, but always was anyway.
A pain just like the oil filter, the fuel filter and anything else on the car!

Golf R/Audi S3 on mine complete with the quarter wave/resonator pipe. From a dim memory of the last time I drove it three years ago it dampened things down nicely even with the 2.9" pulley. But did make you realise even more what a characterless noise the Tullet 3.0" system makes.

the standard saab air box was a very good and cheap option to lower the noise a lot.
worth a look at.

Put me down for one Joe, hopefully it will tone down the supercharger without the risk of tripping the noise meters at Bedford and other circuits!
I'm running a decat tullet 2.5" exhaust - I have no problems on static noise testing.

i have silenced decat pipes in stock if you need one aswell

I wonder if an inlet resonator box would cut this noise out?
The originale US supercharged engine runs a resonator in the inlet tract, just for noise silencing...

Hi Joe,
What price for the filter box and the silenced de-cat pipe?
