Maddest car I have owned (until my VX, of course!) was a R11 Turbo. As a 'yoof' couldn't afford the ins. on a R5 GT Turbo, but I thought it would be similar enough. Went like stink, in a straight line, straight through hedges on corners. I don't think it actually had a chassis!

Makinen,

No the 2500 is actually a 2500M.
The Vixen is a car in it's own right. It looks similar to the M but has different front lights and bumper...

No, it wasn't a 2500M and it looks like the Vixen.
The owner said that it's often mistaken for being a Vixen. Can't find a picture of it, though.

Cars before the VX....loads....(most of which were bikes!!)

Here goes;

Cars

Datsun 180B SSS (1973- My 1st car). Insurance cost more than the car!
Ford Cortina 2.0 GL Auto (1978). Pile of sh1te!
Ford Capri 2.0 V4(1971). Also sh1te. No, it was worse than sh1te!
Fiat Strada (1980) fun but rusted and fell to bits in 4 years
Ford Fiesta XR2 (1986) I think I had one of the good ones. Loved it.
Vauxhall Nova (1987) Crap - swore I'd never buy another Vauxhall!
Vauxhall Astra (1992) Crap - swore I'd never buy another Vauxhall (again)
Volkswagen Golf GTi 8V (1990) Brilliant fun
Renault 18 (1983) Excellent car (my ar$e)
Porsche Boxster (1999) Nice but 2.5 was gutless
Volkswagen New Beetle (1998) one of the 1st (if not THE 1st) in the UK
Renault Laguna 1.8RT (1997) Flat as feck
Subaru Impreza P1 (2000). fun but had to go to make way for the 1st TVR
TVR Chimaera 4.5 litre(1997) Great car but leaked
TVR Tuscan (2002) see pic. Awesome but scary with 390BHP
TVR Chimaera 4 litre (1994) After Tuscan was a tad bland
Volkswagen Beetle (1955) I WILL restore it one day (only had it 19 years)
Volkswagen Golf (1989) Hmmm. Still got it but not used in ages
Volkswagen Passat (1998) Boring but it gets me to work
VX220 Turbo (2003) - Damn - I said I'd never get another bl00dy Vauxhall. Feck feck bl00dy feck!

Hmmm.... a bit of a giveaway those plates - sadly they're illegal. Fortunately the local magistrates have told the local BiB "not to waste their (the magistrates') time with such trivial offences"

Greenhouses - not that many left working now (including the ones my nextdoor neighbour owns)
