Om man vrider spjället i din figur ser det inte ut att hända nästan nåt med flödet det första 1/4-varvet. Undrar vad som händer om man börjar rymma upp i en sån känslig installation.

Good pictures, you can see what I mean about the shape, not perfect for best flow. I will try to get some pics of mine on this thread. Also tried yesterday to see if my z22se had a flat spot @3000rpm, but could not notice any flat spot at all, does this only show up on a rolling road?

It seems that the flow increases very gradually the first 20° of turning of the butterfly disc. If this is changed drastically then it could confuse the electronical control, I guess. The safest would to be only opening up at the max point, by flattening the shaft and enhancing the flow into the TB, I guess?

Yes, I once polished a weber twin choke in that area and the engine raced away :beat: , luckily the tickover screw saved the day, lesson learn't :( . The shaft is in the highest flow part, so reducing that piece gives more gains, the new screws I used are flush with the flat section, I also flattened the other side of the shaft slightly. There is room for improvement on the body itself, I will get pics later
