Just want to send an update, HITEC(Germany) released some more specs: Stage 1: +80 to 230 HPS supercharger, intercooler, electronics, incl TUV and installation: 6.800 Euros Stage 2: +105 to 255 HPS Stage 1+ additional ECU, piston colling, mods etc. : 7.800 Euros pictures coming soon (Monday) European Homologation before Christmas. My car (prototype) can be inspected in Viernheim /Germany. The quality of the intallation is amazing, mostly original GM parts, seems to be the solution for ambitious drivers, who like N/A feeling combined with ultra power. Go for it and leave the VXT´s behind. ;-) Installation is possible in UK and Germany. Installation needs 2-3 days including TUV approval. Let me know, if anybody needs to know more, please send a PM. I can give you a "customer" perspective as I am the poor guy who had to give them the car for a couple of months. Regards #2177 (Alexander)

B) I can vouch that Hitec is a much more serious company than Delta (concerning accuracy and customer care). 6800 is still pricey, but all in all pretty honest considering the CLAIMED 230hp... ;) (85 euros per hp) what S-C is being used? rotrex?

Yes it is the Eaton blower, not a standard one, but the American version for the 2.0L SC engine. With a lot of engineering art, HITEC was able to attach the intake(no plastic ;-) with intercooler and the blower to the 2.2L engine. Even one of the engineers mother, who does not know anything about cars, said, that this is really looking like being made for the engine (and she is right,, has somehow been made for the engine). The most amazing thing was the accuray of the design, we were spending 3 months in the design phase, and you cannot imagine, how much time we spend on it to make it close to perfect. Right now, I do not know of any open issue or weaknesses on the mechanical side. Hartmut Neitzel from HITEC is famous for his expertise in the ECU and electronic side. (they build sc solutions for Minicooper, BMW and others). Seems to be flawless, but I am sure that many of us will have a look at it and there is always something you can improve... #2177 Alexander

I know i'm clutching at straws, but

does it still conform to Euro 4 emissions regulations

and is there any chance of it being officially homologated in Switzerland? :(

Sadly, not – I fear...

Tell me I'm wrong!!!!!

Yes it is still Euro 4, and there should be a way to make it happen in Switzerland, Call them and they will help...

Here is a photo of the intake during the build-up, very solid, the plastic is gone, intercooler included.

Size police...

And here is the final overture, fits perfectly and the best thing is that the Vauxhall dealer can get most of the parts for service....

Have fun...

Hhmmmm the handling finesse for the NA, but also ridiculously fast! Sounds awesome. Anyone know what the 0-60's might equate to?!?
