A dealers view
We have never charged for CC, but we do have a£250 excess.
Other dealers have there own policy, but there is a move toward charging for CC throughout the industry.
There is a chance that if you are found to be negligent with the CC, we'll come to you for your insurance details and from experience they pay.
We use Corsa's cuz they're cheap for us to run, I have 70 costing me about £5 a day each. thats a load of dosh PA.
We do get a little p'd off when customers complain about not getting a like motor, shyt does happen, cars do go wrong, we don't charge, and a taxi I suspect might cost a bit.
We get really p'd off if folks complain about it not having a full tank 'For Feck Sake! (unless its our fault, we don't give jungle juice)
I'm not sure you'd get Courtesy tele from Dixons if it went hooters up, or Courtesy lawnmower from B@Q if that went bandy.
Give us a break lads on the courtesy car issue.
