You see thats how sad i really am, not only is this site the one i check first thing in the morning and last thing at night, I have also hooked up my computer at home to all the Vauxhall systems (cant decide whether thats poof or :tt: ) You would be amazed at who within Vauxhall actually looks at this forum/site - think i better keep my head down for a bit with TIS and EPC :tumble:

I know you've had a look, but hoped you wouldn't mind indulging me for a few mins - W0L0EAR972N003351 - apparently an airbag recall has been done - does this show up ? Someone mentioned that this car might be within the range for timing belt/pulley recall (?!!?). Also, does the system provide service history - I've been told the car has had 3 visits to the workshop for routine servicing but I've yet to see the paperwork. Thanks Willow, you're a star. chinky chinky

It has had the Airbag recall done, that shows up, its outside of the chassis range for the timing chain recall so you are ok there......

Only way to find out its service history is to physically see the service book. Should be every 12 months or 10K miles, whichever comes first. But as far as Vauxhall are concerned they have had no problems with the vehicle and it hasnt been involved in anything unsavoury thumbsup

For the Timing Chain Recall, This is the effected range..

VX220 Norwich between 1 N 000145 and 1 N 001492

Warranty claims will be accepted until 30/06/2005 meaning you only have a few months left to get it done.......

If you check your chassis, see if its within this range, then if it is, look under the bonnet on the side of the timing chain (right hand said as if you are looking at the engine from the back) and look for a green dot, if its not there, then PM me with your chassis and i can check if its been done or not...... thumbsup
