I dont know what it means, sorry chap. Its not stolen as that appears somewhere else, could be that its part of some register that is out there for keeping track of vehicles or could just be a mistake - but definately try and find out about it first!!! willow.

hehe cough as you might i have been looking at yours loads haha!

I just cant find anything, theres no records on it under the chassis or the reg and im at a loss, HPI is clear so thats a good start...... im just assuming that there has never been any major problems where you had to get VX involved so no one has ever registered the details with them!!!

so in brief - i dont know haha! chassis shows no details on VX side of things :drink:

Did they raise a case with Customer Care? or was it a technical case? if it was the latter nothing will generally turn up, but if you were put into a rental car for a while they would have 'raised a case' with customer care......all very boring

The gearbox was replaced just prior to me getting the car and the radiator was done a week afterwards and they wanted to do this an internal job, don't know why though.

thumbsup Willow is an absolute star but if it helps take some workload off him, I phoned Vauxhall Customer care last year when I got the car, asked nicely and found they were very helpful in telling me about the recalls the car required.

(Warning! virgin posting from newbie..) I'm considering buying an NA Speedster with serial number 2709 - first registered in Germany. Don't have the whole chassis number yet . Is that enough to identify it? I tried asking a local Opel dealer, but no response. Finding out some background would be *seriously* helpful before buying. Much appreciated.
